Renowned craftsman and tenkara angler, Mr. Kazuhiro Kuwata, from Gifu Province, Japan, has offered us a unique work of art handcrafted by him and now offered on our site in very limited quantities.

These tenkara wallets are an elegant compliment to those who want to do tenkara in style, yet maintain the minimalist, and simplistic aspect of tenkara. Very well designed, and nicely finished.

These wallets feature an internal leather panel designed to hold your tenkara line (level or traditional) on one side, one spool holder custom-made to fit two of our small tippet/traditional-line spools (same as Froghair tippet spool - this spool holder is custom fitted, and may not fit other brands of tippet) and a patch for your flies on the other side. They also come with a lanyard fitted with a deer antler amulet, which in Japan is said to offer anglers protection on the water.
