One of the first tenkara guides in Maryland, Rob Lepczyk is a Certified Tenkara Guide and guides primarily on the Gunpowder Falls and its tributaries.
Rob is a well-known face on the Gunpowder Falls and its tributaries. He has been fishing these waters his entire life for trout, bass, carp, and anything else that swims He specializes in teaching beginners the basics of fly fishing. Rob teaches both fly fishing and Tenkara fly fishing and is an Orvis Endorsed and a Tenkara USA guide, as well as a graduate of Sweetwater Guide School in Livingston, Montana. Rob guides well over 80 days a year on the Gunpowder River and is focused on making your day on the water as enjoyable as possible. We guide in the Gunpowder Falls river valley. Our primary fishing area is the on the main-stem of the Gunpowder, but also fish the smaller tributaries. Our primary species target is wild Brown Trout.
