Ebisu is the Japanese god of fishing, protecting fishermen in the water and providing them with abundant fish. The Ebisu was one of Tenkara USA's original rods when we launched the company 10 years ago. It developed a big following due to its smooth soft action (a bit softer than the Iwana), great feel, and accurate casting.
For the last couple of years, we have heard many people asking for the Ebisu to return. And so we worked on tweaking it slightly, and offer it in this special Limited Edition run celebrating 10 years of Tenkara USA introducing tenkara to the US. We plan on offering the Ebisu through the end of 2019.
