So while I'm at college, I plan on starting my net project over Thanksgiving. I don't have my Tenkara rod yet, but I plan to get it soon.

However, I plan on starting my net project. when I go home for Thanksgiving I plan on cutting some ash branches and letting them to start to dry and such. So basically just watch this space for any updates.

Good luck on the net project JDP. It's a great way to spend time and being able to use it afterwards is like catching fish on a fly you tied. Post photos as you progress.

My Tenkara Rods:
13' Ayu, 12' Yamame, 11' with a conversion handle, and an Ito.

My Wife's Tenkara Rods:
12' Ebisu and 13.5' Amago, 12' Iwana with a conversion handle, and an Ito.
