Postby stevenlsmith87 » Thu Feb 28, 2013 5:34 pm

I was wondering if anyone had any information if TenkaraUSA would be coming out with a shorter zoom rod. This is something that I am very interested in and would love to pick something up before the Tenkara Summit this May.....Hope they release something soon!!

Though I had planned on releasing something sooner we are back on the drawing board for something that I think will be very exciting.
Fingers crossed it will come out soon.

When speaking with Daniel and TJ at the Pleasanton show, I asked about the new telescoping rod, and Daniel talked about some of the features of the rod, and how much work they have put into it's design and building it. Daniel was clearly driven by making the new rod just right. They both appreciated my desire for this new rod. They were both also very keen on my desire to have only the best rod. I was glad that Tenkara USA has the fortitude to stick to the highest of standards, instead of satisfying my childish whims of "I want it now". Besides, I still have the Ayu II to and other Tenkara toys to acquire and play with in the mean time.

Thanks to Daniel and all of the Tenkara USA Team for Continuing to strive for the most efficient and effective fishing rod. Your efforts have made my experiences on the rivers more blissful than I thought they could be.
