Pineapple Upside Down Cake

Postby Stan Wright » Sun Apr 16, 2017 8:47 pm

We were talking about a special desert for a get-together and I suggested Pineapple Up Side Down cake... Everyone said it was too much trouble and it never comes out right... I told them the Boy Scouts make it all the time in a Dutch oven, so it should be easy in a cast iron skillet in the oven... Jace and I volunteered to provide dessert.
As a quick review, we viewed a YouTube video on how to cooke pineapple upside down cake... and then I turned him loose in the kitchen. I supervised, and Jace did all the work.

We didn't tell them we had prior experience on scout campouts... this would be easy. Everyone was so surprised at the results. Everyone but Jace and me. LOL
