But, just came across this beast on our Facebook page (24 inches, 5.5lbs):

This fish is a hog, and a real eye catcher too. It wasn't until the second time looking at this photo that I realized that there are actually two fish in the photo.

I have a buddy that landed a 26" Colorado Cutthroat.

My personal best is 22"
It's the fish at the top of this page: http://tenkaraguides.com/trip-options/

Caught this 18" brown on the St. Vrain River between Lyons and Longmont, Colorado. The picture is bad, but my hand can help lend perspective. Was using a 12' Iwana, a TenkaraBum 15' tapered leader (heavy), and 4' of 5x tippet. Caught it on a size 12 stonefly nymph as a dropper under a Clown Shoe Caddis.

I just got my first Tenkara rod this spring so have not used it very long. My biggest fish thus far is a 13 inch Brook Trout. UPDATE- I have fished Tenkara for several years now and my best trout so far was a nice fat, colorful and heavy limestone 16" Brown I caught last summer on my 12' Iwana. Great fight!

I just caught this in southwest Colorado 23" Rainbow. I never thought I could bring in something like this on a Tenkara. After looking at some of the other fish on this thread I can see others have managed as well.

That video is to a link of someone catching a 98cm Chinook Salmon, with an absolute monster of a rod.
