 Sheesh, if you're that gung ho for tenkara more power to you. What exactly does that all mean? Could you please post some tenkara fishing pics? I have to believe you have some. This intro post is still better than most, I guess. :?

Now you can measure each fish you catch. That's hard core.

How about a picture of you holding a fish so we can see it in action.

Wow! That's quite impressive!!! I hope we'll make you proud to have the tenkara tattoo on!

You beat me to it, there is a milestone I had in mind for tattooing our "T" symbol, but then I learned I couldn't frequent the onsen (hot springs) in Japan if I had a tattoo. Very, very cool.

Watch for a pm from me...

Yes its real and worth it. I bought my Iwana feb 2010 but only really got into it this year. My gf offered a tattoo for my bday and I tasked my 15 year old backpacking buddy to design me something fishing related, preferably Tenkara-ish and thats what she designed. I never posted before because 2010 sucked and fishing was not a major concern for me then. Life is back on the up and and I've really bought off on the Tenkara thing. Its not perfect for every water but I always have it with (it fits in my saddlebag too so it really is always with me) and will try it first before going to a traditional western rod. Sorry I dont have more pics of fish from the Tenkara, I dont usually carry a camera or my phone, just too complicated. The only pic I think I do have is of a 13" large mouth I got from a local town park one day when I had an hour to kill and my phone was on me. I think the Iwana is even in it, hafta check and see.

Thanks.
