Net leashes

Postby Daniel @ Tenkara USA » Sun Nov 07, 2010 2:44 pm

Net leashes are now available: Net leashes.
I decided to offer two models, one with a wire inside, which will make it more durable and less prone to overstretching of the coils, but is less supple (yellow model). And one which is plastic only, and thus more supple and lighter (gray model). This will be based on personal preference only. I'll probably stick with the un-wired one.

I ordered two. One for my hand made tamo and one for the tamo I bought for Sherry. It's what I've been looking in the way of parts, but better.

My Tenkara Rods:
13' Ayu, 12' Yamame, 11' with a conversion handle, and an Ito.

My Wife's Tenkara Rods:
12' Ebisu and 13.5' Amago, 12' Iwana with a conversion handle, and an Ito.

I ordered also .might it not have been a good idea to keep the rubber arround the ring that fits on the net , or make that ring from rumbber or wood to keep the metal ring from wearing on the finish and wood of then net ?
