Sam Lacina American Tenkara Net

Postby craigthor » Fri May 31, 2013 4:47 pm

Received my Sam Lacina American Tenkara net this week, and is it ever gorgeous. I think I will be looking at getting his leather net release as it should add a really nice finishing touch as I am planning a custom sling to attach it to.

And it works great as well took a guy that wanted to try Tenkara out and after he fished a bit handed me my rod and wanted to watch me fish a bit. Landed a nice Rainbow that was quickly returned to the water.

A fine net Craig, the fish may jump in without a fly! You should still try your hand at a Tamo though. It's fun to see what's under the bark!

The hoop is ~10" and the total length is ~25" so about 15" of handle. Sam can make them any length and is also making them with a curved handle similar to some of the traditional tamos.
