Postby Ant75 » Tue Jan 08, 2013 12:03 am

Hey All
I will keep this short

Yes Im new to this ,
I had never seen it before until I Saw Daniel on youtube 2 days ago.
I have been Fly fishing and using a bait caster for the last 8 years and love it

I did do some quick research and I have got a Amago rod coming from Daniel

I hope it will be right for me I will be using it in small rivers for Australian Bass
The biggest would be about 35cm and adverage is about 25 - 32cm

Will the Amago be ok ????

Cheers Anthony

Welcome.

The Amago is a good choice, and should hold up just fine.

Anxious to see some pics and stories about your bass.

I just received a 12' Iwana. I have limited fly fishing experience but I was so impressed by what I have seen online and the passion for tenkara I read in the posts on the forum I had to give it a try. Limited trout streams nearby- I live in Little Canada MN- but I am really looking forward to giving it a go in the next few days. Thanks for the opportunity of a new fishing experience.
