North Georgia Mountains

Figured I'd throw up some photos from last weekend in the Georgia mountains.
It's always a joy to escape the Florida heat for a few days and enjoy the cool water and shaded canopy.
(All fish were caught using the Tenkara USA Sato & 3.5 level line).

Those fish are beautiful...they look almost translucent.

Thanks all for the compliments, it was a wonderful day of fishing.

And mak, you're absolutely right, translucent was the adjective that came to mind as well.

I have been there and I really enjoyed the nature.
And the military road in Georgia is amazing! But it is quite dangerous.

Nice photos, Michael. Do you have a close-up photo of the red/black beadhead in your fly box, or the one just below it?
