North Georgia Mountains

Going fishing? Take a tenkara angler :) Or take a western fly-angler, show them tenkara fly-fishing, and brag about how you caught 5x more fish than they did (if they didn't take your tenkara rod from you that is).

North Georgia Mountains

Figured I'd throw up some photos from last weekend in the Georgia mountains.
It's always a joy to escape the Florida heat for a few days and enjoy the cool water and shaded canopy.
(All fish were caught using the Tenkara USA Sato & 3.5 level line).

Those fish are beautiful...they look almost translucent.

Thanks all for the compliments, it was a wonderful day of fishing.

And mak, you're absolutely right, translucent was the adjective that came to mind as well.

I have been there and I really enjoyed the nature.
And the military road in Georgia is amazing! But it is quite dangerous.
Thanks for the photos=)

Nice photos, Michael. Do you have a close-up photo of the red/black beadhead in your fly box, or the one just below it?
Thanks! -Steve
