For all I know I may just be the only Tenkara dude from Florida.

:D
With all the excellent fishing in Florida, both fresh and salt water, there should be plenty of tenkara opportunities. Just think, you could be the first person to catch a baby alligator using a tenkara rod. :o
I can't wait to see the pictures on that one.

I'll be in Orlando on Oct. 6 for a week and St Pete's Dec. 4 for 5 days. What's going on? :?:

Hey there, started fishing Tenkara when I went to RMNP in September, what a blast. Live in the Tampa Bay area and fish Tenkara when I can.

FIgured I'd try to revive this. Can I get a roll call?

I live just South of Jacksonville. Have rod(s), will travel...within reason.

If there are any like minded tenkaraians...or even the tenkara-curious...
that would be interested in a Florida Tenkara Get-Together...I'd be down.
Figure there's got to be like 3 or 4 of us doing this in the Sunshine State, right?

Don't make me go ask those folks up in Georgia...

Been Tenkara fishing for 6 years, live in Clearwater. Mostly bluegill and small bass. Saltwater is next, we'll see how that goes!
