So as we get our heads more around the vet bills including what will be coming up I felt it was easier to just start a new thread:

Sorry to hear of your pooch Craig. My oldest dog is showing her age these days, very expensive. I hope you can get the care your four legged friend needs.
The prices for your gear I made are very good! Cheaper than I could justify selling for after carving by hand. I only wish I could have gone to the last Summit to show people my creations not to sell but to see and feel. The pics don't do justice. The lightweight feel and way they catch the sun light and strength of the wood makes them nice to use stream side.
Your Knothead Trout is unique being the only one made from a piece of root. I passed this wood dangling in the water after lots of flooding. It was only held by the outer layer of thin bark found on the roots. If I didn't grab it and use it for your Knothead it would have been covered with oil floating in the Gulf!

Just over a grand so far. :o but it looks like most of it should be over with, a few more visits and to ahve the sutures removed.
