Tenkara nets

Daniel, those Tenkara nets are beautiful!

Do you have any plans to import some for sale here?

Even asking that, quite frankly I'm thinking it would be a very enjoyable project to make one myself. I'll have to start looking at tree branches more closely!

Hey Grampa,
Just created a new section in the forum specifically for tenkara nets. I think many people will enjoy making them too.
I do plan to offer some. There are very few places in Japan that make the authentic nets, and because each net is different from the other, it may be a bit hard to offer these online. Plus they are VERY expensive. So, I may be able to offer these in limited quantities, like the leather wallets.
I also hope to be able to manufacture some that are still of high quality, but more consistent.
More to come on that in the near future.

I would like to see some of the net materials sold. for instance i would love to make my own net frame now that i read the "how too's". so it would be nice to be able to get the fine mesh netting to attach to it. I love wood working and i think juniper trees seem to grow in the right shape to make these. Im gonna give it a try.
possibly does anybody have a link were i could order a fine mesh for the frame??

We're working on bringing these over soon. We have now found a pretty good manufacturer and hope to offer in by the end of July.
