Made a bamboo rod case from a 2" bamboo pole.

Lol, its not that hard to do, a saw a half noon rasp, bamboo and a bit of time ;)

Nice work! I like all the images on the tube. What tool did you use? I'm always curious about how people work with wood and other materials.

My Wife's Tenkara Rods:
12' Ebisu and 13.5' Amago, 12' Iwana with a conversion handle, and an Ito.

Thank you! I use a 60W soldering iron with variable wattage, not the best thing for art work but it worked

Made my tenkara rod case out of PVC, but then I sanded it down, and used a rasp to mar it. Then I used a gel stain and wed it on with a rag. The stain fill the gouges with stain and from a short distance looks like a wood grain. So the tube appears to be a piece of oak. I would attach pictures, but I don't think I can as a new member.
