What are the other ESSENTIAL pieces of equipment you carry with you? How do you pack? How do you hold your gear while fishing? Fly boxes? Snips? you tell us.

Thanks Anthony. I've tried the altoids before, not a bad box, very sturdy.

While cleaning up some stuff found an old Playstation 2 memory card holder. Thought instantly of Horn's recycled fly box. And a couple minutes later-

Good enough for a trip. And then thinking back on occasion I have gone and used one single fly many times though out a days fishing. So a very small fly box could easily be good enough.

Nice flies as usual Horn. Made a line holder modeled after a tail pic I was inspired by you posted while back.

I commend you sir. Good looking box recycled and really fly flies! And also the benefit of a back scratching from your wife, what more does one need?

Thanks jdchaussee. The hydro 5 is pretty good razor, I'd recommend it. The fly box is simple enough to convert to a functional ultralight floating fly box.

Thanks also aR. It's a simple variant of my foam hopper pattern that is very effective around my water. You've seen them in action thru my vids I've posted here before. The best part is with just a simple modification, a hopper can be turned to a dry stonefly.
