Knothead Trout, The People's Game

The locking portion of the Safety Pin is what's needed. There's a lot of pins that are brass which would make a good Kebari for your opponent. I'm not sure about the Grapefruit tree. The weight might be considerable. It should however carve beautifully. Plum, Peach, and apple have been luxurious to carve. But are really heavy. I hollow out the fish to lower the overall weight. I had planned Tamos in fruit tree branches but rethought the idea because of the weight. A balance between the magnet power and weight of the fish with the metal mass of the locking detent on the safety pin all has to come together. This effects the retrieve portion of the game. I've managed to make all the games respond very closely to the performance of Knothead Trout #1.

A few coats some hollowing and the cold put an end to my carving today.

Thanks Jeremy,
The rod plug ornament/fish was made from a Dogwood stick riddled w/ beetle holes. The neighbor cut several branches down from an old Dogwood on the fence line so a hay bailer could fit beneath the tree. I couldn't let the wood go to waste. It would be hard to misplace!

The Dragon head carving is Cedar on a Hammock stand for my Mama- in- law. Here's the other one on the other side. She likes Dragons:)

Knothead Trout #18, made this one to place on my Etsy shop. Thus the little Dogwood Mushroom for the shops name Tenkara Mushroom. I have a bit more left to finish on this game.

My hope is to help spread my favorite way to fish though my Carvings. A fun game for a fun method of fishing.

Pretty cool looking holder for the game. I like the dark wood, really intense coloring.

Thanks Brother, the mount is from a Cedar tree. It's one of the first trees I decided to use after it got blown over. It's a nice contrast from the Sycamore Knothead. The picture makes it look darker than it is.

I edited the game finally with rules on my first post. I wouldn't mind hearing from any of you "players" out there to see what you think of the rules posted. I think they are pretty simple.
