Carrying a spare braided line is a good idea, too.

I love the lanyard. Keeping fishing simple is the beauty of Tenkara.

That's what I'm going to try to do too. When I FF I always take too much stuff. Saturday will be my first Tenkara experience and I'm going to try to go light. No net, one fly box, no vest. I post a report and let you know how it goes.

My Wife's Tenkara Rods:
12' Ebisu and 13.5' Amago, 12' Iwana with a conversion handle, and an Ito.
