SE Pennsylvania

I fished a local "put 'n take" that is heavily stocked and even more heavily fished. Any of my PA friends that know the Birdsboro area know where I am talking about. I saw 7+ spin guys and bait guys in the stream, all with the same story "not biting today" or as an 8 year old put it, "they fished out the whole friggin stream". I had 3 hours before dark, so I fished anywho, with my Tenkara Iwana. By the time i left, 5 Chubs, 1 Stocked Rainbow (about 13"), 1 Stocked Brown (about 11"), 5 chubs, and 5 Wild, yes wild browns from 5"-9". Not bad for a stream with no fish. :)

I will load pictures soon.

I'm happy to hear PA is still fishing well. I was leaving on Monday for Potter County but hurt my leg playing basketball. Looks like I'll miss out.

Great pics.

Tenkara rules! Congratulations on turning a generally (general public) bad day of fishing into a successful one. It goes to show you should give it a try when everyone else is failing to catch fish. You just never know.

Sounds like a Tenkara outing in the making.
