The Keeper is a tenkara line keeping solution that incorporates an integrated fly compartment. It is designed to hold two tenkara lines, or tenkara line and tippet as well as some flies for a minimalist and innovative solution to manage your tenkara line(s).

The Tenkara USA Keeper features two patent-pending solutions. The first feature is a unique line-catching mechanism. As you wind the line it gets automatically caught between two walls so that the line never "explodes" out of the spool, and you can stop winding it at any point rather than looking for a notch to stop.
Another one is a small compartment to hold between 6 and a dozen flies (or your rod plug).

Diameter: 80mm (3.15inches)

  • I received my Tenkara Line & Fly Keeper in the mail today. I'm so glad I keep an eagle eye out to be one of the first to purchase. This line keeper is fantastic. I can carry two lines and several flies in a device the size of my palm. If you want convience and ease of use the order one ASAP while supple last. Once the word get out they will sell more then what they can hold in stock. Five Stars.

  • Really like this product, really cleaver design for keeping your go to flies as well. I think I'm going to order one more soon. One for furled lines that I prefer in streams and another for level line which I prefer for rivers. Great work, look forward to seeing what you guys come up with next!

  • I don't know why I have waited so long to get this product. It is awesome. I carry two level lines on "The Keeper". Love the ability to hold the lines in place and not worry about a line coming loose or getting tangled. I have no problems with lines kinking. I like to store my end cap in the fly holder. It is a little heavier than my foam spools but the problems that it solves make it worth the extra ounce or two.

  • Спасибо за качественную и удобную продукцию. Недавно пришли холдер и новые шнуры. В руках держать приятно, шнуры летят отлично, презентация хорошая. Огромное спасибо.

  • Awesome all-in-one idea in principle, not in execution

  • Always wanted a dual line keeper, which would address most situations with a single rod. Have a line catchment, and a place to store a days worth. The durometer of the grey pliable section is a little stiff and causes undo stress on the online during removal and spooling. Can cause kinks and also have to wrap real tight for it to pass the "rubber" which causes line swirls or loops once attached to rod. Fly section could better utilize given space. Instead is too thick and has voids where cap strap is so water can enter inner spools and get funky. Even with those issues aside, the biggest con is it is very heavy for what it "replaces" therefore is cumbersome, large and HEAVY. Tenkara fishing is about minimalism and this feels like the weight of an ultralight reel. Disappointed that I've still given it tries and will unfortunately end up in the trash.
