I'm just about finished with my coolest net so far. This was a branch with many "flaws", and my favorite so far. I saved this one for a time when I felt like I had acquired enough experience as not to butcher it. I absolutely love making nets with branches that present natural flaws on them. They are "organic", different, truly unique. With the right cuts and technique can be stunning. They are also the hardest to find. The first net I acquired in Japan has a deep flaw in the handle, and that's what made me fall in love with them. I am also very proud of the joint I made on this net, it was virtually invisible (even before the finish was applied) and is just about invisible now. It is about 3.5" long, my longest so far, and very strong. The fitting is precise. I'm very proud of that accomplishment. Now I have to find time to start tying my mesh to these nets, after all they are not a net if not a mesh to hold the fish:

All your nets are beautiful. Bit this one look exceptional. Nice job Daniel.
