Ready for Sunday on the Kern River. I decided to go with the standard mono knot wrapping bs the thread wraps. It turned out pretty well. I already landed my first fish! :lol:

VERY NICE! Rick, it looks great! And congrats on the first fish :lol: Can't wait to see some pictures of you in the water with it.

I like the darker color, did you darken it more than in your previous pictures? I also like the mono on the darker wood.

What did you think of the wrappings? Easy?

The net looks very good, and the joint also looks like it was well done as I can't see it from this picture.

Thanks guys. I didn't darken it from previous photos. It's probably just different lighting. Wrapping came easier as I did each consecutive wrap. Sunday will be it's maiden outing. Should he fun.
