All I know is that it is 100% fluorocarbon "hi-vis" line developed for tenkara fishing by Sanyo and marketed under their Valcan brand, which also has a light green line that casts nicely but is hard to see in some lighting conditions. The orange line appears from the photos I have seen on the internet to be much more visible than their green line but not fluorescent. Hard to tell how it will look fishing. I have been very disappointed in the past with lines that look good on the spool but can't be seen when fishing.
It comes on 30m spools, same as their light green line and same as the Sansui line, in sizes 3, 3.5, 4 and 4.5
I'll know more in a day or so when I get my first spools in and a lot more after I've had a chance to fish with it. I really hope it is a good line but I won't know until I've fished with it.

Same as the TenkaraBum Hi-Vis line.
Esoteric Tackle started to carry it just about the time Sunline discontinued it. I was able to get a bunch more of the size 4 but the size 3 was gone. I still have 1.5, 2, 4, and 5.

Hi,
Yes it is the same as TenkaraBum's line. Price is lower because the 20m is on a very cheap eva spool. It was disappointing to find out it was being discontinued and I only have limited stocks of all the sizes including the 3. When it's gone it's gone.
The Sanyo looks like an interesting line but lets see how TenkaraBum gets on with it. I've other "lines" of enquiry open for new stuff. Don't forget Tenkara USA have excellent products as well and this is their forum.
All the best and thank you to TenkaraUSA and TenkaraBum for opening up this new/old world of fishing to a new market.
Cust.
