I just picked up my November issue of Fly Tyer Magazine and found a nice article about the Montana Summit written by Morgan Lyle titled Tenkara Catches On. He mentions Dr ishigaki, Chris, Daniel, Tenkara Guides, and Ashley Valentine was mentioned for her Punk Rock Sakasa Kebari. I haven't see Ashley post here but I see her on Facebook quite a bit. Congratulations everyone for having made the issue.

I looked for an online version of the article but couldn't fine one.

Thanks Rick,

The Summit was a blast. Looking forward to the next one.

If everybody's interested, maybe we can help out with a link to the text . . .

Rob

Would love to read it if anyone has the text! I stopped by a bookstore today after reading this post but it was not available there.

Thanks Morgan for keeping Tenkara alive in the media!!!

I looked on Fly Tyer's website and it appears the issue I received in the mail is not online yet. If I can find the article I'll post a link.

if you have an iPad, iphone or ipod touch you can buy the electronic version for 2.99, I don't know if there's a fly tyer magazine app for android though.

Finally got a copy of the magazine! Actually, I got it over Christmas when I was driving, but haven't had much of a chance to read it until last week. It's an awesome article, and marks a great milestone for tenkara in the US.

Thank you Morgan for writing about it, you recorded a bit of history in those pages, in my opinion.
