Has anyone here used the flat nets seen in the Tenkaraman youtube videos? Where can they be purchased? It's amazing how the fish lie still for the most part, on it.

I believe it is a DIY project. As a proof of concept, you could probably pick up a racketball/paddleball racket in your local sporting goods store. Eventually you will catch a fish that won't fit on the "net" and won't lie still, though. My guess is that his flat "net" is just a way to hold his fish for a photo, similar to the plexiglass photo/release box he used to use.

I've been looking for a wood bad-mitten racket at all the garage sales.
no luck so far... lots of metal ones, but no wood. :(
