I will be heading up to the Smokies at the end of the week. A few friends and I will be backpacking and fishing for a few days. Any general advice for fishing Tenkara in the Smokies? I plan on bringing my Iwana 11' and my Ayu.

Fished the Park yesterday water was high and had cooled down. Fish were on the bottom. Saw a few bug hatch but no fish rising, fishing was slow for me but I am not the best Park fishermen. You can go to www.littleriveroutfitters.com and read the fishing report, water temp and flow rate, it is updated every day. You can give them a call and they will give you any info they have. Have fun.

Tom
