Tying the Perfection Loop knot forms a loop that can be used to attach a Tenkara line to the rod or a tippet to the end of a Tenkara line, either a level or a tapered line. The reason this loop knot is called "The Perfection Loop Knot" is because this particular knot forms a small, compact, perfectly centered with the line it is tied with knot, as well as with the loop-to-loop connection to another line or tippet to a line or to a leader or transition taper from a line down to a tippet to transmitt the energy of the line to the tippet with out the tippet hinging. Here is a short video showing how to tie The Perfection Loop:

Just be warned that in some head to head tests that I did the perfection loop turns out to have a pretty poor strength compared to the surgeon's loop. On the main level line that's no problem because the tippet or fly knot will always break first. But for line to tippet, loop to loop connections, the perfection loop in 5x tippet can be fairly weak, and may often break before your fly knot (especially if you're using a strong Davy or Orvis knot).

Using Bimini tippets for your tippet loop can supposedly give you near 100% strength - but I've never been very good at tying those things...
