Just a couple large rocks I stacked together in my garden terrace. Thank you for the complement, and getting me into this fun way to fish. And carving Tenkara gear too.

My wife finally caught a few fish in her new net. She also hooked a Carp, it was quite exciting till the fish broke her off on a fallen tree. The Carp jumped several times making it a dramatic day of fishing. A great day, we set off for fish for her net and got them.

:D :D :D Thanks Simon, I'm not good at describing the cast, sharing techniques or writing so I try to contribute with my woodwork.

That's a pretty darn nice tamo. I really like the wood at the split where the ring starts. Great coloring and grains.

The Mushroom Tamo is a good one! :) The Hackberry wood is full of character. Today I spoke to a guy cutting down trees that are to close to the power lines in my neighborhood. One of their targets is a Hackberry almost a 100' tall in my backyard. I will have to see about using some of this wood if possible for projects. It's a shame to lose the sight of this tree though. :(
