Hey everyone,
Heading to Colorado tomorrow morning for about 10 days. My wife is coming along this time as I try to convince her to move over there (seriously, but we'll see). I have a relatively packed schedule this time, but decided to put Saturday, June 2nd, aside for an informal tenkara fishout at Boulder Creek, just up the canyon a bit.

So, if anyone is interested, let's meet at the parking area right past Flagstaff Summit Rd (left side, large parking). at 10AM. Map below, it is 3 miles past the "end of town". Let's say 10-2pm, but casually play it by ear and maybe stay longer.
BTW, I found the parking lot using Google Maps Satelite , if anyone knows anything about that area (e.g. not a good place to meet, please let us know). Just in case, we'll have the lot just past Magnolia Dr. as a backup location, in case it's closed up or something like that. I believe I have been to the lot by Flagstaff Summit before and it was fine.

It will be great to meet you there. Bring your own lunch, fishing license and tenkara gear if you have it. I'll bring some extra rods, so you're welcome to bring a friend and can try different rods too.

I'm jealous. I would move to Colorado in a heartbeat too.

Please keep posting fishing days, I hope to be able to see you at the next one in CA.

Cheers.

I hope there will be no confusion with the meeting place, but just to clarify. If you're heading uphill, once you pass Flagstaff Rd., you'll go around a long bend to the left. There is a large parking area you can drive to. That's the place I have in mind, not the shoulder on the side of the road immediately past the Flagstaff rod.

I obviously missed this outing by a while, but I just wanted to say that I moved to Boulder about a year ago, and absolutely love it here. Everything you could want to do is within walking/biking distance. It would be fantastic if you were to move in this direction, Daniel.
