My mom works at a cath lab. When performing an operation they have needle disposal boxes. She brought me one home. They have a foam pad and magnetic strip also. I added more foam stuff and a quick disconnect key ring so I can attach it to a laynard while fishing. Here is the product. I'll upload pics of mine soon.

I install and service cath lab equipment. I'm pretty sure I've seen those same little red boxes before. It never occurred to me to think of them for use as a fly box and ask if I can have one. Your Mom is more observant than I am. Thanks for the tip. :)
